Privacy Policy
Dream Neighborhood and Dream Neighborhood Schools
MotorMouth Corp.
This Privacy Policy describes how MotorMouth Corp. collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information through Dream Neighborhood and Dream Neighborhood Schools (together, the “Service”). This Policy applies to both End Users and Partners.
The Service includes:
- School Explorer at www.dreamneighborhoodschools.com (full school race and other protected-class demographics only on that website after the visitor agrees to fair housing terms — GreatSchools / Niche / NCES model);
- Neighborhood Explorer at app.dreamneighborhood.com and www.dreamneighborhood.com; and
- Popup and embedded explorers on Partner sites that show only a Limited view (which may include a Diversity Index) and do not show full race, gender, or other protected-class breakdowns.
School data displayed is publicly available information for informational purposes.
1. Information We Collect
End Users: name, email, usage (searches and neighborhood, school, and index preferences), device and location, and interactions with school demographic information on the Schools website.
Partners: professional information (license, website URL), contact information, payment information for paid Neighborhood Explorer, and usage of popup and embedded explorers.
All users and explorer visitors: IP address, browser, device, and anything typed into a support or contact form.
We do not collect information through lead-capture forms (not a current feature).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Personalize neighborhood and school insights
- Process paid Neighborhood Explorer subscriptions and payments
- Communicate with you about the Service, including our own email marketing
- Remember a Fair Housing acknowledgment on the Schools website
3. Cookies
We use login cookies (for example on app.dreamneighborhood.com) and a Fair Housing acknowledgment cookie on the Schools site. There is no separate cookie-policy page.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may send you email about the Service (our own marketing). You can unsubscribe by contacting legaldepartment@motormouth.io or using an unsubscribe link when one is provided.
We use service providers who process data for us so we can run the Service (for example hosting, payment processing, and email delivery). They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
Partners may see aggregated or account-level usage for explorers installed on their own websites, and remain responsible for fair housing compliance. Popup and embed views on Partner sites stay Limited (Diversity Index allowed; no full protected-class breakdowns).
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA or GDPR may include the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact legaldepartment@motormouth.io. Partners may exercise rights related to business account data the same way.
6. Data Security, Retention, and International Transfers
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. Information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your location.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. School data displayed is publicly available information for informational purposes.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Service or sent by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
